Paul has been taking swim lessons for 2 sessions now. The Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center is perfect for swim lessons because they keep the pool a little warmer (86 degrees) and there's a large shallow section where the little people can plan and get use to the water and the idea of swimming.
Paul LOVES swim lessons and has been doing great getting used to the water. He's taking Kinder 1 and will be taking it again next session because you have to put your face in the water for 5 seconds to move on to Kinder 2. He's not a big fan of that, but he does love to play in the water and jump in. This summer will be great when we get lots of opportunities to play in the water at the beach and Grandma and Grandpa's pool in Wenatchee!
Olivia gets to go to swim lessons to, but she doesn't get to swim just yet. You have to be 3 for the first swim lessons. She does a good job cheering her big bro on...
