First week home

We've survived 1 week at home with Paul, Olivia, me and Grandma.  Matt had to go back to work on Monday, but we send daily pictures so he can see what fun we're having (for the purpose of sharing, not rubbing it in).  Olivia is eating well (A) and sleeping ok (B+).  Grandma is a HUGE help of course and Paul is having a blast.  We've had a few visitors and Paul gets VERY upset when they have to go, so we're happy to see the weather warming up so we can get out of the house a bit more for his sake.

I have so many pictures so far.  Here are a few favorites.
Daddy's little girl.

One happy big brother.

Paul tries out the "big boy massage chair".

And helps Olivia work the buttons.

Paul got a new chair.
It's his favorite spot to cuddle with Olivia.

Our friends Molly, Ben and Allison came to visit.

Indoor tryke ride.

After work cuddles with Daddy.

Little sweetheart.

I'm jumping into this blogging thing feet first while the masterblogger is temporarily laid up (although she has been disobeying doctor's orders and NOT taking it easy, but we all knew that was going to happen). So, here goes...It's been an interesting couple of days. No biggie, just 3 nights in the hospital and the second amazing gift to our family. Here's a video and a few pics to keep the grandparents happy:

A little time at home the day before the big event...

If you wear the blue suit, you HAVE to do the robot dance...
Welcome to the family, Olivia Jane Fitch...
Happy family...
This one was happy at home at the time with Grandma, but he knows what's going on in that picture up there...
The WHOLE happy family...

I love this pic. You just know she's going to be a handful later on...
It turns out they will give any good looking couple off the street with a starbucks cup a baby these days (this is us checking out Thursday morning)...

Zoo Days!

Grandma, Paul, and I went to the local petting zoo today to enjoy the sunshine and spend some fun times with Paul before his sister shows up.
The sheep were VERY friendly.
This is as close as Paul wanted to get.
Grandma and Paul meet some new friends.
The monkeys were pretty cool.  We also saw camels, alligators, buffalo, llamas, pigs, snakes, lots of birds, bunnies, turtles, and ostriches.
PS - It's spring time and apparently dating/mating season at the zoo.  That was very... educational.

Just about time...

I've got my hospital bracelets on and that can only mean one thing! It's baby time!!! We tried to capture some pics of Paul and his sister before she enters the world on Monday!
Tummy drum.
Paul likes to poke my belly button and then show me his.

Grandma Dawn is here now and she stops and laughs at me everytime she catches a view of my profile.
39 weeks.

Lumberjack Matt

Update: The tree out front that needed chainsawing was about a 16" tree and killed one chain saw.  This is what it looks like all chopped up.
Timber!
Rather than 6 trees to be taken down out back, Matt counted 16 trees.  Now we have a new view off our back deck.
