Birthday Weekend

I'm one lucky lady. One 5 day weekend, a magical boat ride, some family dinners, and lots of beach time! Happy Day!! I completed a birthday triathlon on my birthday too!! A sunny late morning run, followed by a golf cart ride to the beach for a swim, and then an afternoon hour lounging at the beach!

Katha Arrives!!!

We are so excited to welcome our second Au Pair to our home!! Katha is from Germany and we can't wait to show her around and find out what fun we'll have this year!!

Indianola Days

Indianola Days was a great big gathering of tons of family this year! Grandma Dawn, Grandpa Mark, Andy, Henry, and Wes, Erin and Steve, Megan and Branden, Mike and Shannon, Uncle Bob, Summer, and Lincoln, Grandma Kathy, and Grandpa Les. We had a big dinner and welcomed all our guests on Friday. Saturday, Andy and Amanda got up early to stake out a sand castle spot. I joined a little later to help out. And the group grew and grew as our company got ready for a cold, but FUN!, Indianola Day. The Wests came out for a day visit, as well as Deb and Sadie. We joined in for kid's games and the tug of war and had a base camp at the beach for people hanging out all day. Our babies are young, so we had to take a mid-day break for some naps, but got some more beach time afterwards. Another big group dinner Saturday night! Sunday was the pet parade and wandering around town. We had an early dinner at Les and Kathy's for a final visit with our California relatives. What a fun weekend!! Looking forward to next year's Indianola Days. (August 8-10, 2015 - Put it on your calendars!)

Paul's Wife

Paul was looking at Matt's ring during nap time.  Matt told him it was very special to me and was a symbol of my love and marriage to mommy.

Quickly, he told Matt that he wants to marry Olivia when he grows up.

Because he loves her. Matt said that he cannot marry his sister.

Instant comeback was, "okay then, I'll marry mommy". I love kiddos. 

4th of July in Wenatchee

We spent the long weekend in Wenatchee with Grandma Dawn and Grandpa Mark this year. We had so much fun riding the train, swimming in the pool, playing at the lake, and hanging out with friends and family!
