Christmas

This year we were lucky to get to stay home and have one Christmas with Grandma Dawn and Grandpa Mark a few days before Christmas and then have a second Christmas including a sleepover at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Les' with Mike and Shannon too!!  The kids were really into cookies for Santa, meeting Santa at both the mall and making Christmas lists.  At the Indianola Christmas party a very special Santa came with present for all the girls and boys!  What a fun year.
Best Mall Santa picture ever.  Ever. Three reasons:
1- Paul's expression.
2- We remembered to comb Olivia's hair.
3- Will's not screaming.  I had money on him being a screamer this year.
Well done mini-Fitches.

This is the necklace Paul 'bought' for me at his preschool Christmas store.  I love it!

Indianola Christmas Party

We took a break from organizing the Indianola Kid's Christmas Party this year, but we were still excited to go!  We had a new local Santa, a cake walk, a craft table (that we avoided completely ~ graham crackers), and lots of friends.  The kids had fun running around and having treats and even got a present from Santa!

Christmas Tree Hunt

We plan to be home for all of Christmas this year, so we are definitely excited to get a tree!!  We went to Forester Bob's as usual and got a great tree, some cocoa, LOTS of candy canes, and plenty of hugs.

Paul Turns 5

Five seems like such a  huge milestone for us.  I can't believe Paul's 5 years old already.  That's a kid, not a baby, not a toddler, a legitimate kid.  Paul continues to be awesome. ;) He is smart and funny and considerate and usually nice to his brother and sister. Paul is in his second year at Indianola Preschool with Mary Catherine.  He's got a lot of friends and is friendly with everybody we meet.  We added a few allergies to his food list this year (white fish and crustaceans), but he is so smart and safe it's not really that big of a deal.  We are very proud of Paul and the little man he's becoming!!

We had a big and busy party this year, but it was so fun!! I counted 19 little ones and they were well behaved, we had a plan and everything was prepared before they got here!  Paul wanted to have a band this year, so we got a ton of instruments and everyone got to choose.  Then we marched in a circle around the living room for as a marching band!  (it was raining outside)  We had ice cream cake (sort of shaped like an ambulance) and homemade corn dogs for lunch.  What a great party!!
First we had a family bowling party!!
