Gettin' Movin'

Paul is really starting to move around these days. It takes a lot of effort but he can get where he wants to go and is very happy when he succeeds. I LOVE THIS KID!

Summertime!

We are in full summer swing and loving it!

Paul started his first swim lessons. Really it should be called Float-Around-the-Water-While-Daddy-Sings lessons, but he’s really good!

We also went on summer vacation #1 with Mike and Beth to Cape May, NJ. It was a great trip!

The weather was perfect, the beach wasn’t too crowded, and the baby adapted well to vacation travel. We couldn’t have asked for more (accept maybe actually serving bloody mary’s at the bar called “BLOODY MARY’S”!!!)

Paul had his first real time on the beach and did NOT love the ocean. It was big and loud and scary and cold and Paul screamed.


He did like playing in the sand and dumped an entire shovel full right on his head.

Vacation was so much fun, Matt and I decided to make each weekend a vacation and joined the neighborhood pool. It is great. The kids don’t really swarm until 1 and after that, there’s adult-only swim time for the last 45 minutes of each hour. Paul is really going to get used to the pool at this rate!
