Our Group

I don't know what to call it, but we have a small group that we've started to get together...  4 families, 8 kids under 5... most of them work at Keyport.  I am the lone Bangor representative...  We have so much fun together and I look forward to many more years!  The kids:

New House: Moving In

Holy Geez it's finally done!!  It's so surreal and exciting and such a great feeling to be homeowners again in a place we plan to stay for a VERY, very long time...  It's been crazy busy (it's actually late June now, thank you back dating)... but we're getting settled and can cook at home without screaming and know where 75% of our stuff is.  Not too shabby!  So, forget the mid-remodel post I started and never finished.  We're here, we're happy... and I have before and afters!!

We finally get to enjoy our new home!!!  We got moved this weekend and slept there for the first time.  Fantastic!!

Our New House: Remodel in progress

This 8-9 week remodel has been a whirlwind of crazy and excitement (and money)!!  We've been having a great time designing and re-doing things to make this house into our home.  Money started to get tight towards the end, so we took on some of the work ourselves, including interior paint, electrical trim, base boards, and the tile work!!  It has been an intense final few weeks, but it's nice to do some of the work ourselves.  It really makes us feel we've earned it!!  A HUGE thanks to everyone that helped out with our remodel:  Grandpa Les, Grandma Kathy, Grandma Dawn, Grandpa Mark, Andy, Joanna, Ken, Diane, Amanda, Great Grandma, Big Will!!!  We really couldn't have done it without you.  Here are some pictures of our new home and spaces!

 

 

Mother's Day

We talked about postponing Mother's day this year due to all the crazy remodel stuff going on, but in the end, Matt came through with my Starbucks and maple donut and Sawadty's for dinner on my brand new dining room table!!!  Grandma Kathy and I took the babies to the park for some fun.  A perfect day!!

 

 

 

Ladies Day with Great Grandma!!

Great Grandma came to town so we ladies headed out!!!  Today's special?  Driving range and cocktails... we were mostly in it for the cocktails.
