Halloween!

Another fun year of adorable babies in super fun costumes!! This year we went to the Indianol Clubhouse Halloween party, followed by some trick or treating in Indianola (for which I forgot the flashlights!), and finished up with a stop at Grandpa and Grandma's. It gets better and better every year.

Pumpin Patch!!

We went to a local pumpkin patch today for a little fall fun. The weather was great! Sunny and crisp. We bundled up and enjoyed some rays. Matt was super excited (or at least promised to pretend to be for me) and the kids had fun. We rode on a tractor pulled trailer, hunted down the perfect pumpkins, rode in a wagon, and the big kids found their way through the hay bale maze. I got the customary pictures and we were all set!! It's really fun enjoying these exciting outings with my babies.

A Fall Beach Trip

We love to go to the ocean.  Every year we seem to make a trip to somewhere on the coast in some way or another.  Usually we end up at Kalaloch, one of our favorite camping spots.  This year, baby Will was a little too young for camping (for us) so we passed.  Fall came around and I was needed to get my beach fix.  I found a VRBO very near our campground that looked just perfect.  A little cabin on a high bluff overlooking the ocean.  Lara hadn't been to the Pacific ocean yet, so we asked her to join us and to bring a friend (Lisa, an au pair also from Germany). 

The trip turned out absolutley perfect.  I wouldn't change a second of it.  The weather was spectacular. Travelling with Lara and Lisa was such a delight!  They are so fun, appreciative, helpful, and funny!!  It makes all our trips more fun to share it with these girls. The cabin was great.  The kids behaved.  We had a campfire with smores.  Matt and I went out on a date.  Perfect.  Absolutely perfect.

 A long walk down to the beach.  See those bushes at the bottom of the hill?  I heard a bear in there.  I swear it.  Nobody was eaten in the making of this beach trip.

 The Cougs were on the radio, so Matt was here listening while we got settled at the cabin.

 The girls loved making faces and noises at Will.  He was not neglected this weekend.

  So much drift wood!!

  This is the beach below our cabin.  Not as sandy as the kalaloch beach, but still pretty.  The waves rolled the round rocks and made a very cool sound as they washed around on the shore.
