Paul and I have really been enjoying our first week without school and work together. Here's how our typical days go:
7:30 - Paul wakes up and plays/sings nicely in his crib until I'm ready to get him. This gives me time to get up and ready for the day.
8:00 - We head downstairs for a nice leisurely breakfast.
9:00 - Out the door for the morning's errand. Today was 30 minutes at the playground before grocery shopping at Wegman's.
11:00 - Home for a quick pre-nap snack.
11:30 - Start of mega-nap (aka SUPER HEAVEN)
11:30 - 3:30 - This is free time for Mama where I cram in a few chores, some lunch, a little TV, maybe a nap, and some computer time.
3:30 - Up and Adam! Snack time before afternoon play-down.
4:00 - Head to the neighbors for some outdoor playing and chatting in the sun.
5:00 - Daddy gets home and Paul has super-giggle-fest before dinner.
6:00 - Paul's dinner.
7:00 - Paul heads to bed. On really great days, it's a bath night.
7:30 - Dinner time and relaxing for mom and dad.
9:30 - Lights out!!
Everything has been so great this week. A great way to kick off spring!! I am fully prepared for both mine and Paul's world to be rocked in a couple of weeks when we add a third player to our game... Stay tuned for Life on Maternity Leave: Part II
Paul is soooo cute! What a handsome little man. Love the baseball cap. Glad your week has gone well. My perfect day would all that you listed above except that I was your neighbor that you came over to play with everyday!:)
